Therapeutic Massage

Relieve pain and reduce stress

Therapeutic massage is used primarily to deal with acute to chronic conditions that impede movement. Unlike a relaxation massage, therapeutic massage is the manipulation of soft tissue (muscle, fascia, tendons, ligaments) to relieve pain, increase range of motion, encourage circulation and reduce stress.

Therapeutic techniques are used to release specific areas of concern. Trigger point release and deep tissue techniques release toxins and break up adhesions to realign tissue fiber, re-establishing blood and lymph circulation. As a result, soft tissue structures are flooded with oxygen and nutrient rich blood restoring strength, tone and flexibility.
